Mr. Yancey has over 35 years of
management and consulting experience in the financial
services industry. He held senior management positions
with Citigroup and Wells Fargo. Since 1997 he has engaged
in extensive domestic and international consultations
with many global financial institutions.
His senior staff positions with Citigroup were in
Global Commercial Real Estate and Global Cash Management. At
Wells Fargo, he was Senior Vice President responsible
for integrating acquisitions as they relate to Cash Management
Client Services.
Recently, he retired as the founding Executive Director
of the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis
Center (FS / ISAC), a non-profit organization sponsored
by the largest financial services institutions, the Department
of Homeland Security, and the U.S. Treasury Department.
FS / ISAC’s mission is to help protect the critical
infrastructure of the United States. He was instrumental
in the organization’s growth from a subsidized
start up in 1999 to a financially self-sufficient organization
of over 1,800 member entities in 2005.
He has received letters of recognition
from the President of the United States, various cabinet
members, the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, and
certain agency directors for his contributions to the
post 9/11 safety of the U.S. financial services sector.
Byron received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business
Administration and Math from Berry College and earned
his Master of Business Administration from the University
of Georgia.
