Mr. Hutton is responsible for all firm research covering insurance industry trends and market conditions. Additionally, he is an accomplished expert at identifying viable buyers or sellers who meet the objectives of our M&A clients.

Matt is also responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data and building financial models. His expertise includes performing valuation analyses, drafting confidential information memoranda, and providing valuable support during the transaction process.

He is a member of the Society of Insurance Research and is the principal contributor of content to Brokerage Watch and Carrier Watch, articles which appear regularly in INSURANCE JOURNAL magazine. Matt is also the primary impetus behind LMC’s complimentary monthly publication, Insurance Industry Spotlight. His role in the preparation of the firm’s presentations and newsletters is invaluable.

Prior to joining LMC in May 2004, Matt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Pre-Law from Queens University.
