LMC Capital Advises Ebix on Infinity Systems Acquisition

Charlotte, North Carolina, May 2, 2006 - LMC Capital LLC is pleased to announce that Ebix, Inc.(Nasdaq:EBIX), a leading internationaldeveloper and supplier of software and e-commerce solutions for the insurance industry, has acquired substantially all theoperating assets of Infinity Systems Consulting, Inc. based in Reston, Virginia  and Dallas, Texas.  LMC Capital LLC, a national investment banking firm focused exclusively on the insurance industry, initiated the transaction and served as financial advisor to Ebix. 

With bases in Singapore, Australia, the United States, New Zealand, India, and Canada, Ebix provides a series of application software products for the insurance industry ranging from carrier systems, agency systems and exchanges to custom software development for all entities involved in the insurance and financial industries.  Ebix employs insurance and technology professionals who provide products, support, and consultancy to more than 3,000 customers on six continents. The acquisition adds over fifteen insurance companies to the roster of Ebix customers and provides Ebix with a broader presence in the insurance company market.   Ebix intends to integrate Infinity’s operations into its existing operations in the United States while retaining all of their employees.   A new “Infinity Carrier Division” will be created to provide highly specialized products and services for small to medium-sized property and casualty insurance companies in the United States.  Formed in 1989, Infinity Systems Consulting, Inc. offers various professional liability lines of business, including medical malpractice, errors and omissions, and lawyer’s professional liability.
